Vol. 38 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dunboyne (Co. Meath) Lands.

Mr. O'Reilly

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what the position is with the Rathleek Estate and the Walterstown Estate, near Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

The lands of Rathleek, acquired by the Land Commission from Dr. George Scriven, have been allotted. The lands of Walterstown comprise the retained holding of Mr. James Hickey on the Hely-Hutchinson Estate, and an order authorising the resumption of the holding has been obtained by the Land Commission. A scheme for the division of the lands of Walterstown is in course of preparation.

Mr. O'Reilly

Will the Parliamentary Secretary state to whom has the Rathleek Estate been apportioned?

I cannot give the names of the allottees at the moment. It is really a different question.
