Vol. 38 No. 19

Juries (Protection) Bill, 1931—First Stage.

I move for leave to introduce a Bill entitled "an Act to extend for a limited period the time during which the Juries (Protection) Bill, 1929, shall continue in force."

I oppose that motion.

Shall I put the question, or does the Minister desire to make an explanatory statement?

No. The House knows what the Bill is.
