Vol. 40 No. 9

Order of Business.

I do not anticipate that we will be able to get beyond item 3 on the Order Paper (Financial Motions by the Minister for Finance) to-day. If we do, I propose to take the Road Traffic Bill. I am moving now that business be not interrupted at 12 o'clock.

Might I ask the President whether in view of the fact that he is taking Private Members' time to-day he would be disposed to give a small portion of Government time on Wednesday next to the Public Charitable Hospitals (No. 2) Bill which is on the Order Paper? I imagine that that Bill is non-controversial, and that there will be a very general measure of agreement on it in all parts of the House. I think it could be disposed of within a short time.

I will make provision for that.
