Vol. 40 No. 21

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Closing of Kenmare Suspension Bridge.

asked the Minister for Local Government and public Health if he is aware that the closing of the Kenmare Suspension Bridge over twelve months ago has entailed great hardship on the farmers and shopkeepers, and that much unemployment would be relieved during the winter by the construction of a new bridge, and whether he will state the cause of delay in sanctioning the plans and scheme submitted.

Plans are at present being prepared. It is hoped to invite tenders at an early date.
