Vol. 40 No. 22

Business of the Dáil.

Will the President state if it is intended to complete the business of the Dáil next week and, if so, what business will be taken? It seems to me that if all the business put down for Wednesday next was taken the Dáil would have to sit all day and all night.

I do not think so. I shall see the Whips about the matter during the evening.

Will the Town Tenants Bill, the Transport Bill and the Traffic Bill be taken on Wednesday?

It may be possible to take the Town Tenants Bill this evening, if Deputies wish.

I do not expect that the Town Tenants Bill will last very long.

Is the Government accepting the amendments?

I think so, with very slight modifications.

When will we know?

I will inform the Whips this afternoon. I have not had a conversation with the Minister about it except for a few minutes.
