Vol. 41 No. 2

Vote 64—Army.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim bhreise ná raghaidh thar £5,000 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1932, chun costas an Airm, maraon le Cúltaca an Airm.

That a supplementary sum not exceeding £5,000 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1932, for the cost of the Army, including Army Reserve.

This Estimate passed through some of its stages in the last Dáil, but was not completed. It arises out of the expenses incurred under the Constitution Amendment Act—money spent on the Military Tribunal and prisoners. Some of the moneys have been already spent, and it is necessary to pass this Estimate now.

Vote put and agreed to.
