Vol. 41 No. 4

In Committee on Finance. - Vote 37—Land Registry and Registry of Deeds.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £32,629 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1933, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí Oifig Chlárathachta na Talmhan agus Oifig Chlárathachta na nDintiúiri.

That a sum not exceeding £32,629 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1933, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Land Registry and of the Registry of Deeds.

As the House has been informed in previous years, these two offices are under the same chief officer, the Registrar for Titles. The amount asked for this year, £48,939, shows a net decrease of £720 on the sum asked for last year, the decrease in the Land Registry being £375, and in the Registry of Deeds £345.

Question put and agreed to.
