Vol. 41 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Re-Payment of Dáil Loan (Galway).

Mr. Brodrick

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that a number of subscribers to the Dáil Loan, 1919-20, in and around Creggs, Co. Galway, still remain unpaid; and whether he will take steps with a view to having immediate payments made to the subscribers whose names are included in the list furnished by the Rev. B. Crehan, P.P., Kilbegnet, Roscommon, and vouched for by the affidavits of the Collectors.

I am aware that a number of subscribers in the Creggs district still remain unpaid, but of those who made application only 14 remain unpaid of whom 9 will be repaid in due course while 5 claims are held up pending the return of forms issued to the applicants.
