Vol. 41 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Radio Telegraphy Certificates.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state how many pupils who attended the Dublin Vocational Schools, Kevin Street, have obtained first-class certificates in radio telegraphy in the years 1930, 1931 and up to the latest date in 1932 for which figures are available; and if there are any records in his Department to show how many of these are employed as first-class wireless operators aboard ships.

I am informed that five pupils of the Technical School at Kevin Street, Dublin, obtained first-class certificates in radio telegraphy in the year 1930, nine in 1931, and three in the current year to date. There are no records in my Department to show how many of these are employed as first-class wireless operators aboard ship.
