Extension ladders are liable to duty as other manufactures of wood under Financial Resolution No. 7 as coming within the terms of item No. 18 (b) in the Schedule to that Resolution. Further steps have been taken to ensure that there is no lack of uniformity at import stations in the matter of raising the duty on the articles in question.
