asked the Minister for Justice whether he is aware that it is alleged that two members of the Gárda Síochána stationed in Listowel, Co. Kerry, beat a man named Denis Kelly, of Finuge, Co. Kerry, whom they had arrested for non-payment of a fine that had been imposed on him for illegal fishing, and if he will have inquiries made in the matter with a view to taking such disciplinary action as may be necessary.
