Public Business. - Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Bill, 1932—Money Resolution.

In Committee on Finance, Resolved:—"That for carrying out the provisions of any Act of the present Session to extend the limit of time imposed by the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1931, on the giving of guarantees and the making of loans under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Act, 1924, and to enable the Minister for Industry and Commerce to limit the time within which applications for such guarantees and such loans may be made, authority be granted for (a) the charge on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of such sums as from time to time may be required for fulfilling any guarantee or for granting any loan authorised under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930 and 1931 and such Act of the present Session, and (b) the charge upon the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of the principal and interest of any security issued for the purpose of borrowing under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, and 1931 and such Act of the present Session."—(Minister for Finance (Mr. MacEntee.))
