Vol. 43 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral—Answers. - Lough Foyle Fisheries.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if licence holders from the Moville Board of Conservators are entitled to fish in Lough Foyle and will they be protected from molestation by bailiffs or other agents of the Foyle and Bann Fishery.

The possession of a licence under the Fishery Acts does not confer on the holder an absolute right to fish in all or any waters in the fishery district for which the licence is issued.

I have nothing to add to the replies given by the Minister for External Affairs to questions on this matter by Deputies Dillon and Blaney on 5th inst.
