Vol. 44 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Application for Holding (Wexford).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether his Department has any record of an application for a holding made to the Land Commission in 1922 by Edward Coghlan of 32 South Main Street, Wexford, the son of an evicted tenant; whether this case has been investigated by three inspectors and whether there is any early prospect of this man being settled in a holding.

Edward Coughlan applied to the Land Commission on the 5th January, 1924, for reinstatement in lands at Oulartleigh, Co. Wexford, on the estate of Colonel Bryan, from which his father was evicted in the year 1883.

The circumstances of this applicant's case have been fully considered by the Land Commission, who have decided not to take any action towards providing him with a holding.
