Vol. 45 No. 3

Order of Business.

The business to be taken will be as on the Order Paper except No. 2; Public business not to be interrupted at 12 o'clock. After the Report of the Financial Resolutions is disposed of, we propose to take the First Stage of the Finance Bill.

It is understood, of course, that that breaks the arrangement made with regard to the Wheat Bill?

I think Deputies should realise that we allocated Private Members Time for the discussion of the Wheat Bill to-day, so that more time is in fact given than otherwise would be.

Subject to the introduction of the Finance Bill this arrangement of getting the Wheat Bill is gone.

The only thing contemplated to-day is the first reading of the Finance Bill——

And the Report of the Financial Resolutions?

Financial Resolutions, sprung upon us, can hardly be described as non-contentious.

Mr. Boland

There will be a chance of raising all these matters later.

That these Resolutions were to be introduced should have been mentioned; otherwise they should not have been brought in.
