Vol. 46 No. 7

In Committee on Finance. - Vote No. 76—Repayments to the Contingency Fund.

I move:

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £422 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1933 chun Roimhíocanna Ilghnéitheacha áirithe d'aisíoc leis an gCiste Teagmhais.

That a sum not exceeding £422 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1933, to repay to the Contingency Fund certain Miscellaneous Advances.

This Estimate deals with the question of State bounties in respect of triplets and the amount estimated in respect of Stamp Duties on Deeds on Government property. The Government takes the money out of one pocket and puts it into another. It is necessary to do it in this way. There are also renewal fees, the erection of a headstone over the grave of an American soldier and the expenses of the lying-in-state of the late Mrs. Margaret Pearse.

Question put and agreed to.
