The quantity of superphosphate imported into the Saorstát during the period 1st November, 1931, to 1st March, 1932, was 12,584 tons. The quantity imported in the corresponding period 1932-1933 was 1,016 tons. Statistics are not available as to the quantity of superphosphate manufactured and disposed of by Saorstát manure manufacturers during these periods.
