Vol. 46 No. 17

Holy Year Ceremonies.

Is it intended to adjourn the House for a couple of hours this evening, in view of the religious ceremonies in connection with the Holy Year?

That matter has been engaging the attention of the Whips and it was found that it would be impossible to get through the Parliamentary work in the time at our disposal if we were to adjourn to-night. It is suggested that Deputies who want to attend the religious ceremonies can be facilitated by pairing, or something of that sort.
