Galway Harbour Bill, 1933.

Message from Seanad Eireann:
Seanad Eireann has passed the following Resolution in which the concurrence of Dáil Eireann is desired:—
That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Galway Harbour Bill, 1933, being a Bill entitled an Act to reconstitute the Galway Harbour Commissioners on a more representative basis by the name of the Galway Harbour Board, and to incorporate the Galway Harbour Board, and to confer powers on the said Board (including borrowing powers) for the care and preservation, improvement and development of the port and harbour of Galway, and to provide for the construction and execution of certain works, and to provide for special contributions from and the making of certain rates by the County Council of the County of Galway and the Galway Urban District Council and for other purposes connected with the foregoing matters.
Resolved:
That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 24th day of May, 1933, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Galway Harbour Bill, 1933."—(An Leas-Cheann Comhairle).
Message ordered to be sent to the Seanad accordingly.
