Vol. 48 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Mental Hospital.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state when sanction will be given for the carrying out of the proposed work of reconstruction at the Limerick District Mental Hospital in accordance with plans and specifications submitted to his Department, and if he is aware that increased accommodation is urgently required to relieve the congestion in that institution.

I am fully aware of the general situation in regard to the need for increased accommodation in this institution. I am at present awaiting the submission of the plans of extension and when these are received the matter will be given early attention.
