Constitution (Amendment No. 22) Bill, 1933—First Stage.

I ask leave to introduce a Bill entitled an Act so to amend Article 66 of the Constitution as to terminate the Right of Appeal to His Majesty in Council.

Leave granted. Bill read the First Time. Ordered for Second Reading on 27th September, 1933.

I might point out to the Deputy who asked a question a moment ago that these Bills are put down for First Reading because the matters with which they deal are urgent, although the Bills themselves are not at the moment ready.
