I move:—
(1) That assessments under Schedule E of the Income Tax Act, 1918, on persons to whom the Public Services (Temporary Economies) Act, 1933 (No. 37 of 1933), applied shall be computed as if the last-mentioned Act had not been enacted.
(2) It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1927 (No. 7 of 1927).
