Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Arrears of Land Purchase Annuities.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what is the amount of the arrears and costs respectively of purchase annuities under the Landlord and Tenant (Ireland) Act, 1870, funded in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 (2) (a) and (b) of the Land Act, 1933, and also the amount of such arrears and costs respectively not funded but written off and not payable under the provisions of Section 13 (2) (b) of the Land Act, 1932.

The amounts of the arrears of purchase annuities under the Landlord and Tenant (Ireland) Act, 1870, and of the costs funded in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 (2) (a) (b) of the Land Act, 1933, were £4,890 2s. 3d. and £54 5s. 9d., respectively. The amounts of such arrears and costs not funded but written off and not payable under the provisions of Section 13 (2) (b) of the Land Act, 1933, are £1,594 10s. 8d. and £8 17s., respectively.
