Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Insurance of Threshing Tractors.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if steam engines or oil engines or tractors used for the haulage of threshing machines from haggard to haggard during the threshing season will be exempt from the compulsory insurance clauses under the Road Traffic Act while engaged in that particular form of haulage.

The answer is in the negative, if the engines or tractors referred to are mechanically propelled vehicles travelling in public places.
