Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Disorderly Scenes in Limerick.

asked the Minister for Justice whether he will state the number of persons who have been charged with offences in connection with the disorderly scenes in the City of Limerick on the night of the 5th-6th May, the number of persons convicted, the nature of the offences of which they were found guilty, and the sentences imposed.

Two persons have already been charged and convicted of assaulting members of the Gárdaí in the execution of their duty. Each of the accused was fined 40/-. Summonses have been issued against nine other persons and will be due for hearing on the 8th June next.
