Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Moneys for Gaeltacht Housing.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what amount of money remains unallocated out of the total sum of £350,000 which was made available under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts, 1929 and 1931.

The amount remaining unallocated out of the total sum is £10,000.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what was the total number of sanctions issued by his Department under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts, 1929 and 1931 (a) for new houses, and (b) for repairs to existing houses during the financial years 1931-32, 1932-33 and 1933-34, respectively.

The following statement shows the number of sanctions issued for new houses and for improvements to existing houses during the periods referred to:—
