Thomas O'Donoghue had one year 51 days Army and 254 days Reserve service; his character in the Army was "Very Good". He was normally due for discharge on the 6th July, 1944. He was called up for training as stated and discharged from the Reserve on the 17th May, 1934, for the reason that his services were no longer required. All reserve pay due in this case has been issued.
Am I correct in assuming that the real reason he was discharged from the Reserve was because he happened to be a member of the League of Youth?
