asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can state (a) the amount of money received to date from the Hospital Trust (Sweepstakes) by the Department of Local Government and Public Health for the rate-aided hospitals of the Saorstát; (b) the amount of such moneys which has been already allocated to each local authority for the erection or improvement of hospitals; (c) whether the hospital scheme for County Donegal has yet received consideration; and, if not, if he can state when it is likely to be dealt with and what proportion of the cost of the scheme would come from sweepstake funds.

(a) The amount received to date is £1,208,268 1s. 10d; (b) local authorities to whom allocations have been made have been notified of the proportions of the cost of the works which will be contributed.
