asked the Minister for Lands if he received an application from Mr. Sylvester Healy, Slievereagh, Ballyvourney, County Cork, for a grant under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts, and, if so, if he will state the date of the application and what is the cause of the delay in sanctioning the grant in this case.

The application mentioned which is dated 24th April, 1933, has been received. There are five persons living in the existing three-roomed dwelling on a holding of a Poor Law Valuation of £12 15s. 0d., and the case does not therefore rank high for priority under Section 11 (3) of the Act. The application will however receive attention at the earliest date possible in all the circumstances.
