Death of the President of the German Reich.

I desire to acquaint the Dáil that the following letter has been received from the Secretary to the Department of External Affairs:—

Cléireach na Dála:

"The Minister for External Affairs has been requested by the German Minister to inform the members of Dáil Eireann that the Government and people of the German Reich were deeply moved by the terms of the Resolution passed by Dáil Eireann following the death of President Von Hindenburg, and desire to convey to the House their most sincere thanks for the kind expression of sympathy."

I shall have the letter entered in the Journal of the Dáil.
