I propose to take Nos. 11 to 22 together. The goods covered by the Emergency Orders in question, with the exception of Emergency Order No. 48, were not required to be specifically entered on importation, and the information asked for in the first part of the question is, therefore, not available in those cases. In the case of Emergency Order No. 48, the imports were as follows:—

£

For the 12 months ended 31st December, 1933

151,846

For the 6 months ended 30th June, 1934

76,271

All the duties were new duties.

Questions regarding revenue should be addressed to the Minister for Finance.

With regard to the last two parts of the questions, I am not prepared to give information regarding the business carried on by individual firms.

Is the Minister going to ask the House to confirm these Orders without telling the House a single thing about them?

The opportunity for doing it will arise when the Bill is being moved.

The Minister will have the opportunity of replying.
