Vol. 54 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Alleged Political Victimisation in Cavan

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will appoint a committee representative of all sections of the Dáil to investigate complaints of alleged political victimisation by the removal of certain post offices in County Cavan, the grounds for their removal and the evidence on which the decisions were based.

Mr. Boland

I do not consider any such committee necessary. Any specific cases will be fully investigated if full particulars are given. I am prepared to hear anyone on the Opposition Benches say anything they like about that this afternoon if they like.
