asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number of persons, distinguishing between men and women, in each county board of health district who were at January 1st, 1935, or the nearest date for which the information is available, in receipt of home assistance.

The numbers of men and women in receipt of home assistance in each assistance district or union in An Saorstát on the last Saturday of December, 1934, were as follows:—
