asked the Minister for Finance if he will state with reference to the Purchase Annuities Fund in the period since the passing of the Land (Purchase Annuities Fund) Act, 1933, to the 17th February last (1) the amount of the Fund at the passing of that Act; (2) the sums credited to that Fund and the times at which they were so credited (a) in respect of annuities due under the several Land Purchase Acts, (b) by way of transfers from the Guarantee Fund owing to unpaid annuities and (c) any other sums indicating the source or nature credited to the Fund in the period; (3) the sums and the times at which such sums were paid into the Guarantee Fund out of Purchase Annuities Fund in respect of arrears subsequently collected after they had been declared arrears in respect of the gales on which they became due; (4) the sums and the times at which such sums were paid into or otherwise disposed of for the benefit of the Exchequer out of that Fund and (5) the amount to the credit of that Fund on the 17th February last.
