Vol. 56 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Templemore Outrages.

asked the Minister for Justice whether his attention has been drawn to a report in a Dublin daily newspaper of April 25th that stone walls were built across several roads in the Templemore locality on Tuesday night, April 23rd, and that cyclists and motorists had narrow escapes; and, if so, whether he has any statement to make in the matter.

My attention was called to the report, and I am informed by the police that it is groundless and untrue.

In view of the Minister's reply is it possible to have a stop put to the publication of such reports?

I am afraid I have no power to do that, as the law stands at present.
