Vol. 56 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business in the following order:— Item 5 (Estimates for Public Services); Item 6 (Local Government Bill). Public Business will not be interrupted at 12 o'clock for the purpose of taking Private Deputies' Business, and the Dáil will adjourn to-day until Wednesday, 15th May.

May I inquire, in view of the kaleidoscopic changes made from day to day in the order in which it is proposed to take the Estimates, if the Minister can say when it is proposed to take the President's Estimate and the Estimate in relation to agriculture?

I cannot tell the Deputy now, but we do not intend to take them to-day.

Last night it was intended to take one of these Estimates. Will they be taken next week?

We are discussing that matter.

When will the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Bill be circulated?

Before the middle of next week, I hope.

Is the Vice-President in a position to say when the Insurance Bill will be circulated?

I am not in a position to say at the moment.
