asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of acres of land acquired in County Tipperary for forestry purposes during the year ended March 31st, 1935.
I propose to take the Deputy's two questions together. The number of forestry labourers employed in County Tipperary during the years mentioned were:—59 in 1931-32, 50 in 1933-34, and 80 in 1934-35. The area acquired for forestry purposes in County Tipperary during the year ended 31st March, 1935, was 4,030 acres.
