Vol. 59 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Coal in Dublin.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state at what price coal is at present sold by the importers to bellmen in the City of Dublin.

From the information at the disposal of my Department it would appear that the current price of coal as sold by importers to bellmen in the City of Dublin is 38/- per ton.

Will the Minister say what are the circumstances that have increased the price of that coal by 9/- since the beginning of last year?

That is a separate question.

Will the Minister say if the Controller of Prices is taking any action with a view to having that price reduced?

That is still a separate question.
