Vol. 59 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mallow Vocational Education Schools.

asked the Minister for Education whether he has received from the Mallow Urban District Council a copy of a resolution passed at a recent meeting drawing attention to the desirability of the erection of a new school for the purpose of vocational education as the existing accommodation is insufficient for the number of pupils attending the present vocational education schools in Mallow, and whether the Department is prepared to take steps to carry out the objects outlined in the resolution.

A copy of this resolution has been received, but I wish to point out, in reply to the latter part of the question, that the matter is one for consideration in the first instance by the County Cork Vocational Education Committee.
