Vol. 59 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Resumed Kilteely Farm.

asked the Minister for Lands whether in view of the fact that the total value of the land in the possession of Mr. Richard O'Carroll, Kilteely, County Limerick, is less than £2,000 (calculated on the basis of the price fixed for the farm resumed at Carrigkettle, Kilteely), the provision of Section 29 of the Land Act (1933) will be applied and an alternative farm be provided for Mr. O'Carroll should he so desire.

No application has been made to the Land Commission by Mr. O'Carroll under Section 29 of the Land Act, 1933, within the prescribed time to declare and acquire his entire lands and to provide him with a new holding. The time expired on the 16th June last. If such application is made now it will be considered on its merits in accordance with the usual practice of the Land Commissioners.
