Vol. 60 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Increased Tramway Fares.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is now in a position to state if representations were made to the Dublin Tramways Company to abandon the increased fares which they brought into force on 19th August last; whether he will state the extent to which those representations, if any, were successful and whether he will state when it is proposed that reduced fares will be enforced.

Representations were made to the Dublin United Tramways Company as to the increased fares. An announcement by the Company may be expected in a day or two as to a substantial revision and reduction of the present fares.
