asked the President if he will state why Dr. Boyle-Kelly, who had been acting since the vacancy arose, was not recommended for the permanent appointment of medical officer for the Kilderry dispensary district of Donegal.

The qualifications, experience and merits generally of all the applicants for the post of medical officer, Kilderry dispensary district were carefully examined by the Local Appointments Commissioners with the assistance of a competent board who interviewed the candidates, and in accordance with the usual practice the most highly qualified and suitable candidate was recommended for appointment.
