Vol. 61 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Poaching of Coastal Fisheries.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if in view of the continued poaching of our coastal fisheries by foreigners he will consider the advisability of introducing proposals for legislation of a more drastic character than is embodied in the Sea Fisheries Protection Act to deal with invaders of our territorial waters.

Dr. Ryan

I would refer the Deputy to the question on this subject which he addressed to me on the 5th February, 1936, as I have nothing to add to the reply which I then gave him.
