Vol. 61 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Operation of Conditions of Employment Act.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is his intention to fix a date earlier than Whit week as the date on which the Conditions of Employment Act, 1936, will come into operation, and, if so, whether due notice of his intention in the matter will be given to interested parties.

Every effort is being made to have the Act brought into force at the earliest possible moment, and I hope to have it in operation before Whit week. Due notice of the date of the Commencement of the Act will be published.
