Vol. 61 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Stout and Porter.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has any information regarding the imports recently of three large consignments of stout or porter from London to Dublin which are stated to have been distributed in some of the towns and cities of the Irish Free State.

I am aware that abnormal importations of stout from London to Dublin have recently taken place. The stout in question, however, is not intended primarily for distribution in the Saorstát, but for blending with beer brewed here and subsequent re-exportation.
