Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Old Age Pension Acts.

asked the Minister for Finance if he proposes to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Old Age Pension Acts in order to enable persons of 70 years of age and upwards to draw the full pension of 10/- per week, in addition to any sum (not exceeding 15/- weekly) they may be entitled to through the agency of a trade union or insurance society.

The answer to the question is in the negative.
