The particulars asked for by the Deputy in respect of the year 1935 are as follows: (a) 423,947, (b) 148,364, (c) 433,761 and 130,286, respectively.
In so far as the quota arrangements for the current year are concerned, I would refer the Deputy to my answer to Deputy O Braonain's question of the 21st April last on the subject. In respect of the first six months of the present year, the number of licences available for fat cattle was 58,821 and for stores, 218,555.
