Vol. 62 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballinskelligs Burial Ground.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that portion of the Abbey Burial Ground at Ballinskelligs is being washed away by the sea and that frequently human bones are strewn on the strand, and, if so, whether any moneys are available in his Department for the purpose of erecting a protecting wall.

No reports have recently been received in the Department to the effect stated in the first part of the question.

Protection works were undertaken by the board of health a few years ago. Inquiries will be made from the board of health as to the position.
