Vol. 62 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Health Insurance Employees.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether the Provisional Committee administering the affairs of the Unified Society have reported to him under Section 10 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1933, as to the possibility of establishing a superannuation scheme for the employees of the society; if so, whether the scheme has been sanctioned, and whether copies will be made available for the information of the insured persons.

I have received from the Provisional Committee of the Unified Society draft proposals for the establishment of a superannuation scheme for the officers and employees of the society.

The proposals are at present under consideration.

The question of making copies of the scheme, when completed, available for insured persons is a matter for the Committee of Management of the society.
