Vol. 63 No. 5

Supplementary Estimate. - Vote 27—Haulbowline Dockyard.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £3,145 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1937, chun Costaisí i dtaobh Longlainne Inis Sionnach.

That a sum not exceeding £3,145 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1937, for Expenses in connection with Haulbowline Dockyard.

There is a decrease in the Vote of £2,860, which is probably all due to the fact that we have now completed the building of the pier at Cobh.

Vote put and agreed to.

In connection with Votes 10 (Office of Public Works), 11 (Public Works and Buildings), 69 (Relief Schemes), and 73 (Employment Schemes), as the administration of relief schemes comes under the Office of Public Works, it is practically impossible to discuss one of these Votes without the other, because the discussion will wander from one to another. I am therefore suggesting, if the House will agree, that we should discuss these four Votes together. I think that will be for the convenience of the House and will avoid repetition.

Will I move the four Votes together?

Move Votes 10 and 11.

Move No. 10—one Vote at a time.

Shall we have the discussion then on one Vote?

If you hurry up you may not have much discussion.
